Tijuana Trip

Hey, all. Ready for another blog?

Today we woke up at around 7:30 and got ready to go to the mighty city of Tijuana. Yes, we’ve gone to Mexico.

We got on a two-hour bus trip into the city and hung around a nice little beach with a coconut stall and a little cafe just a few feet away.

Then we went down to a restaurant called Tijuana Tilly's and had some tacos and burritos. Half-way through our lunch, a band walked in and started playing really cool Mexican fiesta music and walking around the tables. They were really good! Dad seemed to love them, and they were really good singers.

Afterwards, we took a final trip to a plaza for a shopping spree. I bought a bunch of stuff. Everyone kept trying to call us into their shops for sales... some of them had some really funny lines! "Come and buy some things you don't need!", "I've been expecting you..." and "100% off!", to name a few.

So, a fun place to spend the day, but not a very nice place to live.
