At The Airport

Well, here I am, at the airport. Waiting for the flight to get here. So far, it’s been delayed twice, each time for an hour. At least I’ve got my laptop here in my carry-on luggage, and I’m sitting right next to a power point. That’s a big plus, I suppose. I’ve got a little spare time to write a blog entry and do some other stuff. It’s 1:15 right now... 6:15 in Los Angles. Kudos to my iPod. It’s amazing that you can check the time anywhere in the world with such a tiny tool. Anyway... here I am, wasting my time before we FINALLY board at 2:20. That’s roughly an hour, for you slow readers out there. It’s interesting watching all the people come and go, their different clothing styles and accents. Wondering where they came from, where they’re going... their stories. It’d be a great idea for an anthological work. You know... five people get on a plane bound for the same destination and all go their separate ways into their real lives. They slowly begin to unfold and almost criss-cross, much the same as The Departed. You know... they all get on that one plane, two of them share the same taxi, two of them meet later on... maybe one of them even robs another one! I really gotta spend more time coming up with random ideas like this...

But, once again, like I always do, I’m getting very off-topic. Mum just brought back some egg-and-bacon toasted sandwiches from Starbucks. Even if Izzy thinks their coffee has been stored in packaging crates for weeks, which makes them taste bitter, their food is damn good. I’m thinking about going back and getting something slightly sweeter. Maybe a scone or a Danish. Who knows? But I’m still feeling kinda full from the sandwiches. Even though it’s good to have something else to eat on the plane. That’s why Mum bought a bag of Twisties. Ah, forget it. No scones.

At any rate, the time is now 1:27. It’s hard to kill time when you’re bored. There’s no wireless internet here, as much as it sounds like a lie. They’re going to get us to board pretty soon... hopefully... so I guess I should wrap this up.

By the time this blog entry has been posted, I’ll be in The States... so expect more very soon.

Missing you all already. :)

Why Hearn, where's the updates re Space Mountain etc... one does expect up to the minute blog entries... you did promise. I suppose the Type 2 in a cup may be a sticking point, but please - don't keep us mere vicarious travelers in the dark for too long.

Enjoy every single second
